Statistical Study on The Teleroentgenographic life size of Normal heart of Korean

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to gather standard value of the life size of normal heart, series of measurement were made on 785 normal Koreans, including male and female aged over 15 years.
Observation was made in relation to body height, sex, body weight, chest girth, age and vital capacity.
(1) Height: Tr. Br. Sq. and L/b increased in parallel to height, while AO, α and Tr. /L-b. showed little change. Average values of Tr. Br. L. Sq. and L-b in male were somewhat higher than those of female, although AO, α and T./L-b showed little difference,
(2) Weight: Tr. Br. L. Sq. and L-b. also increased in direct proportion to body weight.
(3) Chest girth: Also direct proportion was shown between chest girth and T. Br. L. Qs. and L-b.
(4) Age; Values showed similar characteristics. Age distribution was shown in table I, and II.
(5) Vital capacity: No relationship was noted between vital capacity and the size.
(6) Values relating to various body weight and body height were compared with those of Japanese, revealing no marked difference between the two. However, the values relating to age and body were smaller than those of German.
